Linking Haiku Pages

I placed the text on the bottom to reinforce the phrase and give it more power and red on HOT to emphasize the importance of the adjective used to describe the wires
The light green bar represent grass and the text was place on the bottom of it because what ever is throbbing has yet not bloomed.
Here the Urgent Appeals from the previous page have bloomed from the grass. Blooming is yellow a representation of the sun and the poppies that have bloomed.

Revised Haiku Poem

A white B to encourage the viewer to begin reading from top to bottom and as
a symbol for white clouds.

Red on Hot emphasizing intensity and the danger that wires carry.

Yellow on Blooming  with letters slightly scaling in size emphasizing growth and representation of the sun.

Turquoise blue represents the sky and the freshness that comes with it.

Variation in text sizes is chosen to creative movement, importance, and balance.

Mod Cloth is a successful site :)

The Mod Cloth http://www.modcloth.com/ is a women vintage fashion site which function beautifully. It is consistent in color and layout. The main layout I find is in an L shape, meaning tabs that deal with the overall site are at the top and left side of the page. For example, shop, account, blog, about us, help tabs are all layout horizontally across and apparel, accessories, shoes, gift certificates, shop by brand tabs, etc... are layout out vertically down. Choice of color is very clean, white is the choice for background through out the site, top tabs are the same light gray, with a light pink on tabs used as a highlight for the eye, and images are a moderate size to view. Furthermore, when viewing  a page with multiple items, they are space away from each other perfectly even though they are not layout in an isolated box. Nothing on this site is overwhelming to look at. It even has a site map where all items on the website are organized under a category with no images to make it easier for the shopper to find what she is looking for.

Discovery Channel functions as a good site

The Discovery Channel http://dsc.discovery.com/ has a successful layout, considering it is an informative site which requires plenty of text and images, it is attractive to the eye. Its choice of earth green, grays, and blue colors are perfect since it deals with our Earth living things and amazing discoveries. And even though each page is not exactly the same to the home page, it still has a consistency to use tabs at the top of each one which you can click and scroll in its category. Plus there is plenty of space between text which make it easy on the eye to read. It has not flashing colors, pictures have great resolution, and videos seem to function well.

Really Bad Religious Site

This Evangelical Charismatic Protestant site just not consistent  http://dokimos.org/home.html, I mean home page seems tranquil through it pastel colors and moderate moving text but when you decide to view other pages, it just not following it home page layout and choice of color. On the contrary on is filled with a rainbow of color moving horizontally, way to fast, it fills to me like a gay disco club. And if you go to the introduction page it has a dark blue background with rain drops. Anyhow, I don't think this religious site can provide a good sense of direction towards finding Jesus when it is not consistent itself.

Lings Cars Bad site

Lings Cars website, http://www.lingscars.com/ is one of the worst sites to visit when looking to lease a car. The interface has no direction on where to start. It is overloaded with text, color, and animation. There is lots of color but no beauty. It's overwhelming to look at. In order to find what you are looking for, you would probably have to spend hours on the site. And even when navigating away from the interface the rest of the site is just as over- whelming.
